Apex

A1 is elementary level. You can recognise familiar words and very basic phrases concerning yourself, your family and immediate concrete surroundings when people speak slowly and clearly.

B1 is intermediate level. Read simple textbooks and articles in English. Write letters and emails on everyday subjects. Take meeting notes. Show awareness of opinions and mood in spoken and written English.

Can understand the main ideas of complex texts on concrete or abstract topics. Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously enough to comfortably communicate with other English speakers.
