- Little Ben is the nickname given to this miniature clock tower situated just a stone's throw from Victoria station.
- The clock owes its creation to Gillet & Johnston of Croydon, who built Little Ben in 1892 and erected it in the middle of Victoria Street.
- In June 1923 it was suggested[2] that Little Ben might be moved to County Hall, as Big Ben was proving to be a bit unreliable at the time.
