Lascaux Mağarası, Fransa’nın güneybatısında bulunan Dordogne bölgesindeki Montignac köyünün yakınlarında yer alan bir mağara.
Şans eseri keşfedilmiş olan bu mağarada 600’e yakın tablo ve 1400’den fazla gravürden oluşan duvar resimleri bulunuyor.
Lascaux Mağarası’nın geçmişi incelendiği zaman bu eserlerin milattan önce 17 bin ile 15 binli yıllarda yapıldığı tespit edildi.
Üst Paleolitik döneme tarihlenen Lascaux Mağarası’ndaki duvar resimlerini yapanlar, ilk modern insanlar olarak kabul edilen homo sapienslerdi.
Duvar resimlerinin yanı sıra dikkat çeken diğer bir ayrıntı da sayısız el aleti ve süs eşyası oldu.
Lascaux Mağarası ve çevresindeki benzer dönemlerden kalma yapılar, 1979 yılında UNESCO tarafından Dünya Kültür Mirası listesine alındı.
