Circus Maximus (Latince en büyük Circus, İtalyanca Circo Massimo), Roma'da antik bir hipodrom ve kitlesel eğlenceler için toplanma yeri.
Roma'da, Aventine ve Palatine tepeleri arasındaki vadiye inşa edilmiş olan yapının bulunduğu alandan başlangıçta Roma'nın Etrüsk'lü kralları tarafından halk oyunları ve eğlenceler için faydalanılmıştır.
Bir süre sonra Circus, MÖ 2. yüzyılda Yunan etkisiyle düzenlenen halk oyunlarının ve festivallerin yapıldığı bir yer haline geldi.
