Yüzölçümü 2,89 km² olan arrondissementin nüfusu Ocak 2019 tarihi itibarı ile 86.472'dir.
Arrondissement, Kuzey Garı ve Doğu Garı olmak üzere Paris'in iki önemli tren garına ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Ayrıca Paris'in kuzeydoğu bölgelerini Sen Nehri'ne bağlayan Saint-Martin Kanalı'nın büyük bir bölümünü içerir.
