Gitarist ve bestekârdır. King Crimson’ın günümüze dek gelen tek “sabit” elemanı olmuştur. Geniş bir müzikal yelpazede herhangi bir tarza bağlı kalmadan müzik yapmaktadır. Besteleri genellikle klasik ve halk geleneklerinden etkilenen alışılmadık asimetrik ritimler içeriyor.
