Wilhelm Maybach (9 Şubat 1846 doğumlu, Heilbronn, Württemberg [Almanya] - 29 Aralık 1929, Stuttgart, Ger.), ilk Mercedes otomobillerinin baş tasarımcısı Alman mühendis ve sanayici (1900–01).
1883'ten itibaren Maybach, verimli içten yanmalı motorların geliştirilmesinde Gottlieb Daimler ile ilişkilendirildi; ilk önemli ürünü olan nispeten hafif dört zamanlı bir motor 1885'te patentlendi.
1890'da Daimler ve Maybach otomobil üretmek için Cannstatt'ta Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft'ı kurdular; 1895 yılından itibaren Maybach firmanın teknik direktörüydü.
Maybach markasını taşıyan otomobiller 1922'den 1939'a kadar üretildi.
