George Gershwin (26 Eylül 1898; Brooklyn, New York — 11 Temmuz 1937, Hollywood), Yahudi kökenli Amerikalı besteci ve piyanist.
Broadway müzikalleri ve klasik batı müziği orkestraları için eserler yazdı. Bazı şarkıları popülarite kazandı. Müzikallere ve vokale yönelik eserlerinin büyük kısmını söz yazarı kardeşi Ira Gershwin ile beraber yazmıştır.
Bestelerinden birçoğu televizyonda ve çeşitli filmlerde kullanıldı ve bazıları caz standardı haline geldi.
John Coltrane, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis ve Herbie Hancock gibi birçok müzisyen ve vokalist parçalarını seslendirmiştir.
