Matterhorn
Cervino, Cervin, İsviçre Alpleri'nde bulunan bir dağdır. Pennine Alpleri'nin geniş Monte Rosa bölgesinde, yüksekliktedir. Alpler ve Avrupa'nın en yüksek zirvelerinden biri yapan büyük, neredeyse simetrik piramidal bir zirvedir. Çevredeki buzulların üzerinde yükselen dört dik yüz, dört pusula noktasına bakar ve Hörnli, Furggen, Leone/Lion ve Zmutt sırtları tarafından bölünür. Dağ, kuzeydoğudaki Valais kantonundaki İsviçre kasabası Zermatt'a ve güneydeki Aosta Vadisi'ndeki İtalyan kasabası Breuil-Cervinia'ya bakmaktadır. Matterhorn'un hemen doğusunda, kuzey ve güney tarafındaki iki vadi arasındaki ana geçit olan ve Roma Dönemi'nden beri ticaret yolu olan Theodul Geçidi bulunmaktadır.
