- The Gap is an ocean cliff at South Head in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. The area, which faces the Tasman Sea, is located in the suburb of Watsons Bay.
- There was once an angel, who lived across from the gap. He came to be known as “The Angel of the Gap”, he was an elderly man; one of wisdom.
- Not too far from Sydney is an impressive ocean cliff that rises from the Tasman Sea. The Gap is a sandstone ocean cliff with a dip that extends a wavecut.
- The Gap is part of Sydney Harbour National Park and was the site of a deadly shipwreck in 1857. It’s a popular place to come for an easy walk with great views.
- The Gap is basically the mouth of Sydney Harbour with its sandstone cliffs on both sides and spectacular views of Tasman Sea, the city and surrounding bays.
