Yapı, Basilica del Santo Niño'nun yanında Plaza Sugbo'da yer almaktadır. 21 Nisan'da Filipinler'deki Cebu'ya vardıktan sonra Ferdinand Magellan liderliğindeki dünyanın ilk çevresini dolaşan İspanyol seferinin kaşifleri tarafından dikilen bir Hıristiyan haçına ev sahipliği yapmaktadır., 1521.
Basilica del Santo Niño'nun kilisesi ve manastır binalarıyla birlikte pavyon, Filipinler Ulusal Kültür Hazinesi ilan edilmiştir.
