Plantin-Moretus Müzesi, 16. yüzyılda yaşamış matbaacılar Christophe Plantin ve Jan Moretus’ın onuruna 1877 yılında kurulmuştur.
Müze binası, Cristoffel Plantijn’in kurduğu Plantin Press’in orijinal yerleşkesidir. 1944 yılında, İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında ağır hasar gören müze, 1951’de yeniden açılmıştır.
Müzede geçmiş yüzyıllara ait hazine değerindeki kitaplar, basımlar, el yazmaları ve 16. yüzyıldan kalma tarihî bir matbaa sergilenmektedir.
Plantin-Moretus Müzesi 2005 yılında UNESCO Dünya Miras Listesi’ne alınmıştır.
