Alex North (4 Aralık 1910 — 8 Eylül 1991) Amerikalı müzisyen, bestecidir. Jesse Blacksmith ve Bela Suifer'ın oğludur. Gerçek adı Isadore Soifer'dir.
Birçok filmin film müziklerinin yaratıcısıdır. Annemarie Hollger ile evliliğinden Steven, Elissa, Dylan adlarında üç çocuğu oldu.
Alex North'un meşhur bestesi Unchained Melody tüm zamanların gelmiş geçmiş en popüler şarkısıdır. Parça 1955 yılında ilk kez yayınlandıktan sonra peşpeşe farklı yorumlarla ortaya çıkmıştır.
