Ben Ezra sinagogu Fostat'ta (Eski Kahire) bulunur ve başlangıçta «İsraillilerin sinagogu» olarak adlandırılıyordu.
882 yılında Yahudilere satılan bir Kıpti kilisesinin kalıntıları üzerine inşa edilmiştir. Bina peygamber İlyas'a adanmıştı ve yerel halk onu bir haham olan Abraham Ben Ezra adıyla çağırdı.
1980'lerde sinagog yenilendi ve bugün tarihi bir anıt ve Kahire'nin en çok ziyaret edilen yerlerinden biri.
