Gareth Southgate (d. 3 Eylül 1970; Watford, İngiltere), İngiliz teknik direktör ve eski futbolcudur.
Profesyonel futbol hayatına 1988'de Crystal Palace'ta başladı. 1993-94 sezonunda Division One şampiyonluğu yaşayan Southgate, 1995'te Aston Villa'ya transfer oldu. Lig Kupası ve UEFA Intertoto Kupası şampiyonluğu yaşadığı kulüpten 2001'de ayrılarak Middlesbrough ile anlaştı. Burada da bir Lig Kupası şampiyonluğu yaşadı. 2006'da futbolculuk kariyerini sonlandırdı.
İngiltere formasıyla toplamda 57 maça çıkan ve iki gol kaydeden Southgate, ülkesini 1996 ve 2000 Avrupa Futbol Şampiyonası ile 1998 ve 2002 Dünya Kupası'nda temsil etti.
2016'dan 2024'e kadar İngiltere'nin teknik direktörü olarak görev aldı.
