1259 - 1270 yılları arasında, Sırbistan Orta Çağ kenti Ras bölgesindeki Raška Nehri kaynağının yakınında yer alır ve Sırbistan Kralı I. Stefan Uroš'un bağışı ile inşa edilmiştir. 1979 yılında Stari Ras ile birlikte bir Dünya Mirası olarak ilan edilmiştir.
