İsviçre'nin Bern Alpleri'de Mönch ve Jumgfrau'nun bağlantı sırtındaki en derin nokta ve dağ geçidi. Geçit Bern ile Wallis Kantonları'nın sınırında yer alır. Geçidin bulunduğu bölge, yılın büyük bölümünde karla kaplıdır. Küresel ısınmaya bağlı olarak, bölgedeki kar kalınlığı, her yıl birkaç desimetre azalmaktadır.
