İspanya’nın sanat ve bilim şehri Valensiya’da yer alan L’Oceanografic, Avrupa’nın en büyük akvaryumudur ve dünyanın ana deniz ekosistemlerinde yaşayan birçok canlıya ev sahipliği yapmaktadır.
Avangard mimarisi, çeşitli akvaryum düzenlemeleri ve eğitim faaliyetleri ile yoğun ziyaretçi çeken akvaryumun açılışı, 14 Şubat 2003 tarihinde gerçekleşmiştir.
Akvaryum, 110.000 metrekarelik alanı ve 42.000.000 litre su kapasitesi ile Avrupa’daki türünün en büyük kompleksidir.
