Genel bilgiler
Portekiz'in başkenti Lizbon'un Belém semtinde, Coğrafi Keşifler anısına yapılmış bir anıttır. Anıt gemilerin 15 ve 16. yüzyıllarda bilinmeyen yönlere sefere çıktığı Tejo Nehri kıyısına yapılmıştır. Anıt zeminden yukarı doğru, 52 metre yüksekliğinde yelkenleri açık bir karavele benzeyen beton blok şeklindedir.
