San Francisco Modern Sanat Müzesi, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ndeki en büyük ve en ünlü müzelerden biridir. Hem uluslararası hem de ulusal sanatçıların geniş bir koleksiyonuyla Körfez bölgesinin kültürel merkezi olarak kabul edilmektedir.
1935 yılında Savaş Anıtı Binası içerisine kurulan müze, 2013 yılında restorasyon için kapılarını kapatmıştır. Mimar Snohetta tarafından tasarlanan yepyeni bina, 2016’da yeniden açılmıştır.
San Francisco Modern Sanat Müzesi yedi kata yayılan; fotoğraf, heykel, resim ve kısa videoları içeren eşsiz sergilere sahiptir.
