Eski St. Gertrude Kilisesi, bugün cemaatçilerin toplandığı ve konserlerin düzenlendiği Evanjelik Lutheran mezhebine ait bir tapınaktır.
Kilise iki caddenin kesiştiği noktada yer almaktadır: Gertrudes (Gertrudinskaya) ve Baznicas (Kilise).
Bu bina eklektik ve neo-Gotik tarzlarda inşa edilmişti, daha önce şehrin sınırını işaret ediyordu: eski günlerde kilisenin binasının arkasında sadece kulübeler, çayırlar ve ormanlar vardı.
Eski günlerde, şehrin savunması dışındaki kiliselere, gezginlerin koruyucusu Saint Gertrude (626-659) adı verildi.
