- There is little known about the Austrått estate ownership for the next two centuries. In the 14th century the Rømer (family) family became lords of the estate.
- Christoffer owned Austrått from 1674, but rarely visited it. In 1686 he sold the estate to his cousin Christian Frederik von Marschalck (ca 1650–1719).
- It was during her time at Austrått in the 16th century that the main building was raised. From 1721, there were bourgeois owners of the estate.
