Richard Angers worked on numerous fiction films and documentaries as editor, sound designer, composer, screenwriter, and director before making his first full-length fiction film. After making a number of shorts, he directed children's programs and wrote two documentary series. He went on to develop the drama, La Chambre no 13, which received ten Gémeaux nominations and three awards.
