- Grodno is a regional city in the west of Belarus. The city is located on the border with Poland and Lithuania, so tourists often try to get here.
- One of the major attractions of Grodno is the Catholic cathedral of Saint Francis Xavier, this church is also called "farny", which means simply "main".
- Grodno region can again be visited WITHOUT a VISA. From 3 April 2022 temporary restrictions on crossing the Belarusian border were lifted.
- The choice was not acceptable to the other faction of the community, who preferred a different candidate for the rabbinate of Grodno, Moshe the son of Aharon.
- Grodno Oblast is the smallest region of the country with the total area of 25,100 km2. It borders on Poland in the west and Lithuania in the north.
