Grodno State Museum of the History of Religion was created by presidential decree number 47 of the Byelorussian SSR 16 February 1977 as a Republican Museum of the History of Religion and Atheism. The modern name is from 2005. Originally housed in the monastery complex bazilianok passed in 1992, the Orthodox Church.
