The University of East London is a university in the East End of London, England. It has more than 23,000 students and is located on two campuses in Docklands and Stratford.
The University was created in 1970 as a result of the merger of higher education colleges, including the "West Ham Technical Institute" in Stratford and the "South East Essex Technical College" in the Barking area.
