Sydney Tower, also known as the Sydney Tower Eye, or simply Centrepoint Tower is the tallest structure in Sydney and ranks as the 2nd highest observation tower in the southern hemisphere! Located on top of Westfield Shopping Centre, construction of the tower commenced in 1975 and it was first opened to the public in 1981. The overall height is 1014 feet above ground which is 1073 feet above sea level.
