Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th-century palace in the town of Hohenschwangau, near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The Bavarian Kings used it as a summer residence. It is less well known than its neighbor, Neuschwanstein, but nonetheless worth a visit. Additionally, if you ever visit Schwangau in Germany, make sure to check out the beautiful Schwangau castle, built by King Maximilian II.
