  • Hrodna Castle, also known as Lida Castle, is a fortified castle located in the city of Hrodna in northwest Belarus. According to legend, the castle was founded in 1022 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise and served as an important residence and fortress for local rulers. The castle was originally known as Kambarka Castle, and it was part of a defensive system on the eastern border of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
