Almaty Museum of Arts is the first private Museum of Contemporary Art in Central Asia, founded by Nurlan Smagulov. The museum will hold a collection of contemporary Kazakh and international art collected over the past thirty years. The museum’s program will focus on contemporary art in various media, reflecting the current state of affairs in Central Asia and beyond.
