After the expulsion ofthe Turks, the interior was redesigned between 1635 and 1650 by the Italian master Giovanni Battista Rava in early Baroque style.
In the shadows ofthe main mosque in Tangier, the Cathedral is non-descript. From the outside, you can barely tell it's a Catholic church let alone a Cathedral.
