  • Nelson's Column is a large structure in Trafalgar Square, City of Westminster at the end of Whitehall. It is built to commemorate Admiral Nelson who died at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
It's pretty tall and it's therefore very hard to miss. Ontop of Nelson's Column stands a statue of Admiral Nelson which is built out of Carigleith Sandstone.
