St George's Tron is a visually striking church located Nelson Mandela Place in the centre of Glasgow. The church was designed by William Stark and was opened in 1808, it was originally known as St George's Parish Church but due to merger with the Tron St Anne congregation in 1940 it led to the name change to St George's Tron.
