Nizhny Novgorod Fair is a historical district in the Zarechnaya neighborhood which once brought fame and prosperity to the city as the setting for the largest fair in the Russian Empire. After reaching its peak in the late 19th century and operating until 1930, the famous fairgrounds now serve as a conference center.
