The Statue of Liberty is a monumental sculpture erected on Liberty Island, a small island at the entrance to the port of New York (NY, USA). Its official name is "Liberty Enlightening the World." This is one of the most famous sculptures in the world, it was a gift from France to the United States to celebrate the centennial of the Declaration of Independence.
