Rock Grubu
Pek çoklarınca 80'lerde İngiltere'den çıkmış en önemli alternatif rock grubudur. The Stone Roses, Gene, Radiohead, Blur, Suede, Oasis, The Libertines, The Verve ve Doves gibi pek çok grubun üzerinde etkisi olmuştur. Grubun isminin kaynağı tam olarak bilinmemekle beraber döneminde çıkan uzun ve gösterişli grup isimlerine bir tepki olduğu söylenir. Kimilerinceyse grup üyelerinin tamamının İrlandalı olmasına rağmen, İngilizlere has bir erkek ismiyle yaratılan bir ironiden ibarettir.
