Brest’s Museum of Fine Arts Founded in post-war France, the Museum of Fine Arts houses an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures and graphic arts (drawings and prints)... readily associated with the city’s maritime tradition. Since its opening in 1968, it has continued to enrich its collections and now presents a visit itinerary that showcases seascapes, history painting, the Symbolist movement, the Pont-Aven School and the Nabis.
