The Brest Regional Museum of Local Lore is considered one of the youngest ethnographic museums in the Republic of Belarus. It was founded in 1950, when the staff of museum workers was approved and the collection of collections began. On June 22, 1957, the first permanent exhibition of the museum was opened.
