Wilhelm Tell is a legendary figure in Swiss history, known for his bravery and resistance against the oppressive rule of the Habsburgs. According to the legend, Tell was a skilled marksman who refused to bow down to the Habsburg governor, Gessler, and was forced to shoot an apple off his own son's head as a punishment.
