  • The Roman Amphitheatre of Tarraco is a Roman amphitheatre in the Roman colonia of Tarraco –present-day Tarragona, Spain–, capital of the Roman province of Hispania Tarraconensis. It was built in the 2nd century AD near the local forum. It measured 130 by 102 metres (427 ft × 335 ft), and it could house up to 15,000 spectators.
