The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is located in Tarragona and is one of the best archaeological museums in Spain. It is housed in a new 4 story building (built in 1960 by the architect Francesc Monrova) on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean. The building's top three floors house the museum and the basement shows part of the original Roman wall.
