The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation is one of the main attractions of Astana. The palace was created under the direction of British architect Norman Foster to host the «Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions». Its construction was completed in 2006, and Montserrat Caballe was invited to the grand opening of the palace.
