- The area which is now home to the park was originally used for housing. This was the brainchild of the man who the park was named after, Count Eusebi Güell.
- The meeting point for Park Guell guided tours is at the Souvenirs Shop located in Carrer d'Olot nº 12, in front of the main entrance of the Park Güell.
- There are some parts of the park that are free to enter however you will miss the best of Park Güell if you decide not to pay for entrance tickets.
