  • The museum opened on 7 May 2010, the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is housed in a building constructed in 1948 by German and Japanese prisoners of war. In 2014, it became a branch of the Museum of Orenburg History. The exhibition is located in a single hall and contains several hundred exhibits on the military history of Russia from the 19th to the 21st centuries.
