Kitten from Lizyukov Street is an animated Russian movie from the late 1980s. The movie tells the story of a kitten that turns into a hippopotamus and lands in Africa. A sculpture of the kitten and other characters from the movie was erected in Central Park in Voronezh. This metal sculpture was erected to symbolize the kitten Vasily’s return back home on Lizyukov Street.
