Kobrin Military History Museum named after Suvorov was created in 1946 by the scientist and enthusiast Alexei Mikhailovich Martynov. The museum was located in the house of A. V. Suvorov, where the great Russian commander lived in 1797 and 1800. The house was inherited, resold, changed owners, who were unceremonious about the historical heritage of their homeland.
