Washington University in St. Louis is located in Missouri in the United States of America.
It was founded in 1853 and is a private institution, it was proposed by William Greenleaf Eliot. It is situated in a campus of around 169 acres in the city of Saint Louis.
There are around 7200 undergraduate students and approximately 5800 postgraduate scholars at Washington University, and an additional 2900 staff and faculty.
