Barents Denizi'nde 57 km uzunluğundaki bir körfezdir. Körfez, 7 km genişliğinde olup 200 ila 300 metre derinliğe sahiptir ve Kola Yarımadası'nın kuzey kesiminden geçmektedir. Tuloma ve Kola nehirleri körfeze akmaktadır. Körfezin doğu kıyısı sarp ve çatlak, batı kıyıları ise oldukça seviyelidir.
