ȘcheiGate (Română: Poarta Șchei din Brașov) is a tourist attraction, one of the Gates in Braşov, Romanya. It is located: 31 km from Sieben Dörfer, 421 km from...
The ȘcheiGate was built between 1827 and 1828 in order to cope with the increased traffic in and out of the citadel of Brașov as trade was booming at that time.
In fact, most of the construction costs were borne by Roman merchants Schei. The gate is built in neoclassical style, brasov mainstream architecture in this period.
