Первый официальный музей Porsche с 300 экспонатами был открыт в Штутгарте еще в 1976 году. В 2003 началась разработка нового музея, который был открыт 29 января 2009 года и в конечном итоге обошелся компании в 100 млн. евро. Музей открыт по адресу Porscheplatz 1 со вторника по воскресенье с 9 утра до 6 вечера, входной билет для взрослого стоит 8 евро, для студентов или пенсионеров - 4 евро, детям до 14 лет - бесплатно (в сопровождении взрослого).
